Mr. Cassidy focuses his practice on representing school districts, municipalities
and municipal authorities in a wide array of matters. He represents and counsels
corporate clients regarding employment law-related issues, including compliance
with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Americans with Disabilities
Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and other anti-discrimination laws.
Mr. Cassidy serves as solicitor to the Borough of Lemoyne, the Borough of
Goldsboro and the Goldsboro Municipal Authority. He is a member of the Cumberland
County, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania and Federal Bar Associations.
Mr. Cassidy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre
Dame. Upon graduation from college he accepted a commission in the United
States Navy. He served as a naval flight officer flying tactical jets while
stationed in Pensacola, Florida and San Diego, California. After being discharged
from active duty, Mr. Cassidy obtained his law degree from the Dickinson
School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member
of various community service organizations and was a past president of the
Notre Dame Club of Harrisburg.
