Mr. Stewart's areas of concentration include commercial
and residential real estate, creditors rights, estate planning
and administration, local government and education
law.
Mr. Stewart is a member of the Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, and the
National Council of School Attorneys.
Mr. Stewart is a member and past president of the
Pennsylvania School Solicitors' Association and has
served as a member of the Council of the Education Law
Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also
a member of the Corporation, Banking & Business Law
Section and the Real Property and Probate Section of the
American Bar Association. He has served as a member
of the board of Directors of the Central Pennsylvania
Estate Planning Council, the Greater West Shore Area
Chamber of Commerce and the Allied Arts Fund.
Mr. Stewart serves as solicitor for the Northern York
County School District, Camp Hill School District and
The New Cumberland Zoning Hearing Board. He is a
co-author of "Collecting Judgments in Pennsylvania" and "Pennsylvania Real Estate Title: Identifying Defects and Finding Solutions".
He has served as Chairman of the Cumberland County
Republican Committee and as a member of the Republican
State Committee. He is a member of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church
where he served as an Elder and a Deacon. He has been named
an Outstanding Young Man of America and to Who's Who in
American Law. He has served as a Member and Chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
He resides in New Cumberland with his wife, Dr. Mary
Simmonds, and their daughter, Anne.
